NOTE: The steps described below are a follow up of Getting started.
When you first open up the "Restore image" module of Cyric, you will be presented with the screen as shown on the picture below.
NOTE: If a device does not has any image assigned to it's serial number or model type. You will possible see a empty box that does not shows any images that are selectable for this device.
In case you don't see any image, read the Create Image guide.
Additionally, if you expect a image to be available which is present in the Cyric mesh, but not being shown in the "Restore image" module, than there is a possibility that the image was not published yet. To have it published, please contact Service Planet HQ.

Click on the button Install this image at the right side of the image name that you would like to restore to the device.

On the following screen, you can choose the drive on which you would like to restore the image to. Press on the button Install to this drive.
As you can see on the image above, if a image is too large for the drive to be restored on Cyric will show a warning and notify the user that it cannot be installed on that specific drive.

Here we are able to resize the partition if the capacity of the drive allows us to. Use the gray handle bars to resize your partition if needed.
Once you press the button Continue, Cyric will initiate the image restoration process...

NOTE: The time needed to restore a image on a drive can vary from device to device. It is dependent on basically four factors:
Size of the image.
The storage type (HDD, SSD, NVMe, eMMC).
Hardware specifications of the storage drive (Read and Write speed).
The processing power of the computer.
Keep in mind that these factors also play a part on the restore time:
Your Cyric setup.
Filesystem of the partitions
Restoring a image that includes a lot of fragmented files.

Using the checkbox at the bottom left you can immediately shut down the device after successful completion. This saves energy and you can immediately see what has already been completed and what is still in progress.

The results will be added to the asset's timeline in the Melissan web portal. If you'd like to see this, then follow these steps after successfully restoring a image:
Search the device asset by entering the device's serial number in the Quick Search bar at the upper right corner.
Select the matching device.
The page that is currently visible shows you the timeline of all Cyric events.
Here you will see the name of the image that was restored to the device.
